"CITY SPEAK is a punk rock
band from Mainz, Germany.
Founded in some lockdown by Anna (Black Square) and Corni (Black Lining, Keep it a Secret Records), now complete with new guitarist Doni, their
debut record is set to be released soon.
Thematically they prefer to stick to light fare (patriarchy, obedience to authority, exploitation by multinational corporations), but still manage to pose the important, serious questions (pineapple on pizza - yes or no?), and put all of that into songs that sound like “’77 punk with a bit of TSOL”
