"Does anyone remember the Boatless Booze Cruises? Those online festivals we did throughout the lockdown?
Popeye Vogelsang from FARSIDE played the very first one, and we kept in touch because he wanted to play the real thing whenever live shows would be back again.
One day, he reached out to tell me that he had joined a band and sent me some amazing demo songs. That band turned into CALLING HOURS, which just put out a record on Revelation Records and toured with AS FRIENDS RUST some time ago.
I'm glad Popeye is finally playing Booze Cruise, and I'm excited he's joined by his lovely bandmates. Can't wait!"
